Grimes County now has its fifth confirmed case of COVID-19.
David Lilly, the County Emergency Management Coordinator, sent a press release on Wednesday afternoon that identifies the patient as a man in his 60’s.
The patient is currently hospitalized. According to the release, the individual’s exposure was not travel related and is believed to be community spread.
No further information was released, as it could lead to their identity being uncovered.
