A shooting near Anderson this weekend resulted in one death.
Authorities said it happened Saturday night south of Anderson, on County Road 215 near FM 1774. One person fired and killed another.
The name of the deceased or the shooter have not been released. The shooter was detained but not arrested at the time. That person is cooperating with investigators.
The Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney’s Office are working together to determine if any criminal charges will be filed.
