Grimes County has its 13th confirmed case of COVID-19.
According to a press release on Friday from county emergency management coordinator David Lilly, the patient is a male in his 50s. His case was not travel related.
Of the thirteen cases in Grimes County thus far, five have recovered and one has died, an inmate at the Wallace Pack Unit.
To protect the identity of the patient, no further information was released.
