A major accident near the construction at Highway 249 left one man with a broken leg.
That happened on Tuesday morning around 7:20 am right at Highway 105 and Highway 249. No preliminary report has been released, but the accident involved an 18 wheeler and a pickup truck colliding.
The driver in the pickup sustained a broken leg, and was taken to CHI in Bryan. The driver in the 18 wheeler did not suffer any injuries.
The roadway was closed for almost two hours, as crews from Navasota Fire, the Grimes County Sheriff Office and Texas DPS cleared the scene.
No further information was released.
