Over 1,000 local children left to adopt in 2022 Angel Tree campaign

December 1, 2022 by Andre Perrard

Two weeks remain in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree children’s gift drive.

“A big cry for a need for people to adopt angels,” said Commanding officer Andrea Israel

More than one thousand children have yet to be adopted.

“That means there are 1,000 local children, all from Brazos County, from families in great financial need this Christmas season,” said Israel.

Angels can be adopted at all Blue Baker restaurants, the Post Oak Mall food court, and online at the Salvation Army website.

Also at the website, you can register to assist with the processing and distribution of gifts and sign up to ring bells at Salvation Army red kettles.
