Power outage in Navasota on Friday caused by large truck hitting power poles

January 11, 2021 by Willy1550

A large truck hitting a few light poles on Friday afternoon caused a power outage in Navasota.

That happened around 2 pm or so Friday, when that truck caught the lines on Washington Avenue, near Arlan’s Market.

The incident caused power outages from Post Oak to Judson for a few hours, as crews worked to fix the lines. The lines were eventually fixed, and power was restored around 6 pm.

No injuries were reported.
