Bullet Train Public Hearings Set

January 13, 2018 by Willy1550

Only two years late, the Federal Railroad Administration finally released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Texas Bullet Train last month, greatly frustrating the chairman of Texans Against High Speed Rail.

But former Grimes County judge and current candidate to represent the state’s District 13 Ben Leman says Texans Against High Speed rail has already identified several concerns as it’s team begins combing through the mountain of data the public’s only been 60 days to go through.

Proposed route maps are available at texascentral.com.  Lehman urges concerned landowners to detail their concerns in writing then be sure to show up for the Public Hearing at 6 Tuesday Evening, February 6th at Navasota Junior High School and present them in person.

Leman warns that for your concerns to be considered, they must be presented during the hearing period. Period.
