A resolution has been filed in the Texas House to honor the Grimes County man that found the missing Christopher Ramirez last weekend.
That would be Plantersville resident Tim Halfin, for whom District 3 Representative Cecil Bell filed the resolution.
Halfin found Ramirez about 96 hours after the 3 year old disappeared from his parents yard. Halfin told media that hearing for the story at a bible study the night before made him want to search for the boy, and that he was inspired by God to look for him.
The resolution says, in part, that “Tim Halfin helped avert what could have been a terrible tragedy, and his actions have earned the profound gratitude of his fellow Texans.”
No word on when the resolution will be heard officially.
