Response to deadly conduct call lands Navasota man in jail on drug charges

August 30, 2022 by Andre Perrard

A call for two groups of people displaying guns around a College Station business lands a Navasota man in jail on drug charges.

Officers responded to the area near HEB on William D Fitch on Monday night for the reports of deadly conduct. They eventually stopped 19 year old Jamarcus Xavien Lewis of Navasota as he tried leaving the scene.

A search of Lewis’ car yielded around 41 grams of marijuana, and a THC vape pen.

Lewis was taken to jail, and faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2, and Possession of Marijuana.

He remains in jail on bonds totaling $8,000.
