Grimes County Road and Bridge Engineer Harry Walker gave an update at Wednesday’s Commissioner’s Court Meeting. He says they are trying to get a jump on the upcoming road paving projects this year
Walker said the Bridge Replacement Project on County Road 112 is completed and the bridge has reopened, but the TxDOT Bridge Project on County Road 406 is waiting for one last thing to be finished up.
Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell says moving a barricade can get you a citation.
Bridges are currently being replaced on County Roads 179 and 185.
