STAFFORD, Texas (AP) _ One suspect has been arrested and another remains at large in the slaying of a Houston-area man during a robbery at a private poker game.
Eric Norris was being held Friday on a murder charge, with bond set at $500,000. Fort Bend County jail records do not list an attorney for the 25-year-old Norris, who was captured Thursday.
Stafford police say the case involves the July 17 fatal shooting of 45-year-old Donald Leonetti of Missouri City and the wounding of another player.
Police say two masked men armed with rifles robbed the players during the high-stakes poker game at a strip mall. The robbers fired at least two shots while stealing about $20,000.
Investigators say Norris was located after officers received information about a vehicle allegedly linked to the crimes.
