Motorists who drive Rock Prairie over the freeway need to prepare for delays Tuesday.
The Texas Department of Transportation has announced Rock Prairie traffic will be shifted to the north side of the bridge over the freeway, to allow the contractor to start work on the south side.
The switch will be taking place Tuesday between 8:30 and 4:30.
The $5.4 million dollar project won’t be completed until next spring, as construction will extend west on Rock Prairie to Normand Drive, which is on the other side of College Station Medical Center.
