Safety Issues To Be Addressed After Audit Of Texas A&M Police Department

The findings of an audit of the Texas A&M Police Department were shared during the last meeting of the Board of Regents. The university’s chief operating officer, Greg Hartman, brought up safety issues at UPD’s headquarters.

Hartman says the audit showed a need to add officers, in part to comply with federal laws.

Hartman says UPD will be getting more space where they are located with the move of other unidentified departments.
