Authorities are closing in on the person they believe responsible for the death of 35-year-old Michael Bell of Navasota as he walked along fog-shrouded Highway 105 between Anderson and Navasota on the 18th of December.
D.P.S. Sargent Jimmy Morgan says the investigation has led authorities to believe Bell was struck by someone driving a 1997 to 2000, possibly dark green, Toyota Tacoma, who, due of the fog, may not have realized what they hit.
Whatever the color of the vehicle responsible, Morgan says damage to its front end will be evident, including a broken headlight lens and missing antenna.
