A Bedias man was killed in a single vehicle accident Monday night.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says that happened on Highway 90, about five miles south of Bedias. Preliminary investigation by troopers shows a car travelling north at a high rate of speed left the roadway, and hit a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver was identified as 20 year old Lucas Lorca of Bedias.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and an investigation is ongoing.
