Single vehicle weekend crash kills Plantersville woman

August 18, 2021 by Andre Perrard

A Plantersville woman was killed in a single vehicle crash Sunday.

Texas DPS says that happened around 9:20 am on August 15th, when a passing motorist discovered the wrecked vehicle on Highway 105. It is believed that the crash happened about 10-12 hours before the discovery of the car.

The preliminary report states that the car, a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban, was travelling east on Highway 105 when it left the roadway, went into a ditch, then rolled into a dry creek.

84 year old Jervis Muwwakki of Plantersville was pronounced deceased at the scene, and was the lone passenger in the car. Authorities said medical issues may have played a role in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing with no further information released.
