With the new-year comes new challenges and if building a new business is one of yours, then Prairie View A&M’s Small Business Development Center wants to help next week, with its first workshop of the year, called “Building a business plan.”
And to make things easier on you, the SBDC’s Rosita Oliver tells Navsota News, they’ve tweaked the timing to be around lunch time instead of the evening when most people are just getting off work.
Oliver says, creating a business plan is a good way to learn how to explain what your business is to other investors, as well as, to motivate yourself to making your goal a reality.
One of the main components of a business plan, she explains, is the executive summary and is what will keep people attention.
You can learn what else the SBDC has is store for you by signing up online by next Monday January 19th, for next Tuesday’s workshop on January 20th.
