It’s that time of year again when the guests of Navasota’s Historic Horlock House say farewell.
Seattle-raised photographer and now former Artist-In-Residence Andrea Edwards is the first to take her leave, telling Navasota News that our Texas Blues Capital is very different both in climate and atmosphere from her home town.
Edwards beams, Navasota has been a wonderful place to live, photograph and experiment on her craft, but laughs it did take some getting-used to that small town feel.
Her next destination, she reports, is that ever-growing City of Houston, to work for at least a half a year before once again packing her bags and racing to life’s next adventure.
We at Navasota News add our well wishes to others around the county and remind Edwards, Navasota is never too far away…especially from Houston.
