Someone in the Bedias area apparently decided to use Mid-South Synergy’s Solar Panel Farm for target practice late last month, and the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in catching them.
A total of 50 panels, with a total value of $50,000 were destroyed, Investigator Kendale Pittman tells Navasota News, adding that the culprits face a Third-Degree Felony that could put them behind bars for up to 10 years and they face a $10,000 fine in addition to paying for the damage they caused.
But Mid-South Marketing Director Eric Hubbard says their customers have been assured that the vandalism will not cause any loss of service.
And, he adds, any Mid-South Customer, no matter where they live, can benefit from the savings this solar array provides for the next five years.
If you have any information about this vandalism, Investigator Pittman asks you to call him at the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, 936-873-6422. For more on Mid-South’s solar power savings, contact Mid-South toll-free at 1-888-525-6677.
