Speeds reach 120 miles per hour in chase that lands Navasota man in jail on felony warrants, plus new charges

A Navasota man with warrants from Grimes County was arrested Friday night after taking College Station police on a high speed pursuit.

CSPD tried stopping the car of 21 year old Laryn Nobles of Navasota after recognizing it on Highway 6 near Arrington Road. Nobles took off, going on an 11-mile long chase, reaching speeds of up to 120 miles per hour.

The chase ended when he flipped the car on FM 159 near McCrory Road, and tried to escape to a wooded area.

Nobles was wanted from Grimes County for Burglary and Theft of Firearms, bonds for which totaled $750,000.

He faces new charges of Evading Arrest, Evading Arrest with a vehicle, and Possession of Marijuana. News bonds for those total $24,000
