According to a press release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, “On Friday, October 25th, 2024, at approximately 12:05 a.m. Deputies from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a stabbing at the 5000 block of Hickory Hill Road in Navasota located on the south end of Grimes County.
Upon arrival, Deputies confirmed a stabbing had taken place.
Deputies secured the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved.
One male in his early 20s was transported to the Navasota Emergency Room due to his injuries. He was later Life-flighted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, Texas for further treatment. The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
One female on location was arrested.
The circumstances surrounding this event are currently under investigation by the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Rangers.”
