State Wants You to Rate the NISD

May 20, 2017 by Willy1550

For the third year, parents of Navasota School District students and district employees are being asked by the state to rate the district by its Community And Student Engagement program; CASE.

Every June, NISD Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick says we have to submit a district-wide rating component as well as a campus rating component in each of eight different categories.

Those taking the survey are asked to grade each campus in each of the eight categories, as well as a 9th category, making sure we are in compliance with all of the current regulations as well.  Musick tells Navasota News all parents of NISD students and employees are being made aware of the posting of the survey on the district website.

And he stresses it’s not just them that the state wants to hear from.  Any resident living within the Navasota School District is free to access and take the online survey at navasotaisd.org.

But you only have til the end of May to complete it, Musick warns. The district will then submit all that data to the Texas Education Agency next month, with results due back early in August.
