The missing College Station toddler, whose name was subject of a statewide Amber Alert on Thursday, has been found safely.
According to the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley, 3 year old Adeline Welch and 30 year old Maranda Nichols were located by law enforcement in Weatherford, Oklahoma, where Nichols tried using a credit card that was declined.
The were located west of Oklahoma City on I-40, which leads authorities to believe Nichols may have been headed to Amarillo.
The three year old Welch, who has serious medical conditions that can place her in grave danger, was taken without any of her necessary medical equipment. College Station police said the child was being evaluated by medical staff after being found.
Nichols does not have full legal custody of Welch.
No word on the charges for Nichols.
