According to a press release from Grimes County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, on Wednesday, February 14th, around 2:30pm, information was received regarding a possible stolen vehicle in the Bedias area. Constable Dale Schaper and Deputy Constable James Ellis responded to the area of FM 1696, just east of the Bedias community, and located the vehicle in question parked at a residence.
Contact was made with the homeowner and the stolen vehicle was recovered. This vehicle was stolen from a residence on Bob Mathews St in Bedias within the past few weeks and had been spray painted a different color.
Upon further investigation, a purse belonging to a female was located within the cab of the vehicle. The homeowner was initially hesitant to provide information regarding this female. A search of the residence resulted in locating Elizabeth Partin hiding underneath a bed.
