Texas A&M alum Robert Earl Keen wraps up 41 years of touring with final, free concert in September

July 6, 2022 by Andre Perrard

The night before the Texas A and M football team’s season opener, the new tailgating and event space east of Kyle Field will be christened by the final show of Aggie musician Robert Earl Keen.

The concert, which will be at the Aggie Park’s performance pavilion on September second, will end with enough time to cross the street for Midnight Yell. Two opening acts of Aggie performers will precede Keen, who will be finishing 41 years of touring.

The Association of Former Students says there is no admission charge thanks to corporate sponsorship.

Keen is a 1978 graduate who was named a distinguished alumnus in 2018.
