The week before celebratory events recognizing the 100th anniversary of the birth of George H.W. Bush, Texas A&M announces the selection of the next dean of the Bush School.
An Aggie from the class of 1992, John Sherman, starts August first. Sherman has served in a national security position for 30 years, most recently as the Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Defense Department. Sherman fills the vacancy after Mark Welsh was promoted to A&M president.
