Navasota’s 5th annual Texas Birthday Bash is right around the corner, and preparations for the city’s celebration of Texas independence are underway.
There’ll be two days of free concerts, pony rides, a petting zoo, a mechanical bull, food from Made in Texas vendors and more will fill downtown during the first weekend of March. The city’s Sean Myatt detailed for city council the talent already lined-up.
It’s from 5 to 11 Friday evening, March 3rd, and from 11 am to 10:30 pm Saturday, March 4th. Details are available online at the event website, texasbirthdaybash dot com.
And as Washington-on-the-Brazos will have its own celebrations, Myatt says there’ll be free shuttles again between here and there.
