The man in charge of building the high speed passenger train through the Brazos Valley is one of the first two appointees to the new board regulating electric production and distribution for most of Texas.
With only two members, a news release from ERCOT states they can currently serve as the agency’s governing body. Carlos Aguilar of Texas Central railroad is joined by Paul Foster…who is a former chairman of the University of Texas system board of regents and founder of Western Refining.
A selection committee and its outside search firm have six more members to select to the ERCOT board.
