Texas Central, the company in charge of the high speed rail proposed from Houston to Dallas, continues making strides and was just named to a pretty big ranking list.
According to a press release from Texas Central, the company was named as one of the top 50 infrastructure projects in the world. The list was made my infrastructure advocacy group CG/LA, who also mentioned the proposed rail line as one of the most important projects in the nation.
Last year, CG/LA recognized the rail in its report, calling it a crucial option in advancing public and business interests, labeling the project as a “game changer” for its job creation, business development, opportunities for citizens.
Other US projects mentioned in the report were Detroit’s Capital Improvement Plan, the Purple Line Extension in Los Angeles and the New England Clean Energy Connect.
