The Texas City Management Association has elected Navasota’s own Brad Stafford as its new president.
According to he press release, he will be the 97th president of TCMA, and is the second City Manager from Navasota elected to the position. The last one being when RJ Brule was elected to the position in 1938. Stafford’s initiative for his presidency is “leading with integrity while mentoring future leaders for Texas cities.”
Stafford, who graduated from Texas Tech, began his career with the City of Morton, then City of Sundown, and eventually became City Manager of Navasota in 2006.
President of the TCMA serves a one year term and is elected by their peers. Stafford’s term began on Monday, June 8th.
