Texas DPS Most Wanted Man Found in Richards

According to a press release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, “On February 18, 2025, the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, Richards Fire Department, and Shiro Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a residence in Richards.

A Grimes County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was the first on the scene and immediately notified dispatch that there was a male subject in the house. Richards ISD was placed on lockdown. It was determined that the subject was Salvador Saucedo, the wanted fugitive out of Waller County.

Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, Grimes County Constable Precinct 1 and 2, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Fire Marshall and DPS all responded to the scene.
Saucedo was removed from the residence and transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition for a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Lauri Ann Williams was arrested by the Waller County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Hindering Apprehension.
Investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.”
