Texas has started personalized license plate auction for DC and Marvel comic fans alike.
Popular superhero and villain names like “I (Heart) THOR,” “LOKI-01,” “SHE HULK,” “BAT CAR,” and more will be up for bid until 8 p.m. on July 17.
Bids start at $500 and winners can choose from over 100 eligible backgrounds.
My Plates President and CEO Steve Farrar said in a news release, “This is the first time we’ve included superhero messages, and we can’t wait to see how the bidding unfolds. Will the heroes reign supreme, or will the villains steal the show?”
The money from the auctioning of personalized license plates supports the General Revenue Fund of Texas, which provides services for all Texans.
