Cruz brought up attending the George Strait concert at Kyle Field, his plans to attend the A&M football opener, and his recent remarks to around one thousand Notre Dame alumni.
On another topic affecting A&M, Cruz says one of his priorities is passing what he calls a reasonable and common-sense bill regulating the payment of student athletes.
Cruz recapped his legislative record reflecting what he says is his top priority, which is creating more jobs in Texas.
