The City of Navasota invites the community to a ribbon cutting event on Saturday, April 29 at 10am to celebrate the completion of the Navasota Dog Park, located at August Horst Park 100 Airport Drive. The new dog park provides additional recreational opportunities and enhanced park features for both pets and residents, with the installation of new fencing, for 2 separate off leash facilities. One for both large and small breed dogs.
Through the project, City of Navasota Parks and Recreation installed the following amenities at the Dog Park:
2 new benches
2 fire hydrants
2 dog waste trash cans
New fencing around the dog park perimeter
Dog Friendly Water Fountain
The Navasota Dog Park project was funded via contributions from the Voluntary Park Fund.
