According to the festival, the incident happened near the Polish Pub area. There were three booths lost and two damaged but ultimately saved.

The booths destroyed, according to a post from the festival, were #65 Glass Images by Doug Kratz, #64 Bittersweet Armory, and #63 Daedalus Consortium and Trading Company. A go fund me has been set up to help those shops, which is linked on the Texas Renaissance Festival Facebook page.

Damaged was #66 New Wineskins Leather, and #62 Artsmyths, but none significant.

The Festival was open to patrons on Saturday as scheduled.

Assisting in fighting the fire was the Volunteer Fire Departments of Todd Mission, Plantersville/Stoneham, Whitehall, Tri-County, and Magnolia.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
