A traffic stop on Peach Creek road near the Grimes County line ends with the arrest of three people, and seizure of nine pounds of marijuana.

That happened on Tuesday, when the officer stopped the vehicle, and developed probable cause to search. Inside, the deputy discovered the nine pounds of weed, plus a gun and approximately $4,000 cash.

The three people in the car were arrested for Possession of Marijuana over Five Pounds But Less Than Fifty, a third degree felony.

They were identified as 25 year old Cooper Currie of Bryan, 20 year old Pierson Cracraft of Boerne and 18 year old Cole Hudgins of Rockport.

Hudgins and Currie also face Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon Charge. Those two remain in jail on bonds totaling $24,000, while Cracraft remains in lieu of bonds totaling $20,000.
