A couple of Navasota High School students are heading to regionals in UIL academic competition.
Navasota ISD announced on their Facebook page Monday that three of their students have qualified for the Regional Academic UIL Competition in April.
In all, five students competed in UIL academic competitions recently.
Sarah Wisner won third place in both copy editing and news writing, and took fourth place in feature writing. She is one of the three heading to regionals.
Shelby Seale took 6th place in news writing. David Yorek took 3rd place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Hunter Haug took first place in persuasive speaking, with Emily LaBlue behind him taking 5th place in that same category.
Wisner, Yorek, and Haug will head to Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches April 17th for the UIL Regional Competition.
