Two shootings in Grimes County yesterday sent multiple people to the hospital.
The first was reported by the Sheriff’s Office near Bedias, on County Road 117 and Highway 90. They say that around 3:30 pm, the victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspected shooter has been cooperative, according to the office, and they are questioning them.
A few hours later, around 6 pm, Navasota Police responded to a shooting on Highway 6.
It happened in the Northbound lanes near FM 3090, with two people in a vehicle injured.
The suspect fled, and the victims were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Anyone with information is asked to contact NPD. According to Police Chief Mike Mize, the shootings are unrelated.
Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
