Iola ISD announces a public meeting will be held Thursday night to discuss a potential bond project within the district.
The town hall will be held at 6 pm Thursday at the Iola Community Center.
Included in the potential bond project for Iola ISD would be renovations to the administration building and classrooms, plus the addition of new classrooms, and demolition of old structures. The bond would also entail the construction of a new, multi competition gymnasium, along with other modifications around the campuses.
The school board voted in January to accept a recommendation to call a bond totaling out to $24,000,000.
The bond will be up for election in May.
