Traffic stop for no insurance ends with Navasota woman’s arrest on drug charges

January 13, 2022 by Willy1550

A Navasota woman driving without insurance is arrested on drug charges after a Friday traffic stop.

That happened around 10 am, when officers ran the plate of a car entering Navasota Glass on Highway 6. Eventually, officers stopped the Chevy Cavalier, and were granted permission to search the car by 43 year old Kristina Gayle Arrington of Navasota, formerly Anderson.

Inside the car, deputies found a glass pipe, a bond used to smoke marijuana, and a baggie with eight Xanax pills.

Arrington was arrested, and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3, plus Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She also was arrested on two warrants out of Brazos County.

She was released after posting a $7,400 bond.
