On June 24th around 6pm, Navasota Police Officers were dispatch to Highway 6 for a reckless driver that was traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers located the vehicle who was traveling around 90mph and swerving between the two lanes. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was identified as Dylan Kalister (31) out of Cypress, TX. A strong odor of marijuana was detected by officers and a search was conducted.
Officers seized several ounces of marijuana, over 16 grams of cocaine, and paraphernalia related to narcotics sales. Mr. Kalister was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
