It’s time to break out your spookiest outfit and empty your pillow cases, Navasota’s annual Treats on the Street’s comes to downtown this Halloween night.
Navasota Police Chief Justin Leeth says the annual gathering is the City’s safer alternative to the traditional romp around the neighborhood. Instead of walking down random streets, there is just one big line…literally.
And as always, Leeth says, the event will host a costume contest for newborns, kindergartners and 1st through 5th graders. And though the chief prefers homemade costumes, he tells Navasota News, since the department is in charge of the event, he’ll be dressed up as . . . The Chief of Police.
The streets around Navasota City Hall will start getting ready for Treats on the Streets at 5 this evening, and he advises, it would be wise to show up early. For more information, call 936-825-6475.
