The big tree trimming project in Navasota is continuing on, even amidst all the recent rains.
Streets and Sanitation foreman Norbert Valdez spoke on the project at Monday’s city council meeting, which helps trim trees in right of way’s and intersections, for better visibility and safety. He said they have taken care of a large part of town since they started in April.
“We have at this point gotten Leek, Texas, Florida, New York, Carver, Courtney, Universal, Radclif, Sanford, Frank, Durden, Baker, Collin, First, Lincoln, Victoria, Brosig, Church, and Kettler,” said Valdez.
Valdez mentioned too that their work will continue throughout the summer months.
“We are just asking for the public cooperation. If you see us working in the area, try to avoid it, for safety of us, and for the public,” Valdez said.
