Trespass at the College Station police department leads to arrest of Navasota man

A Navasota man is in the Brazos county jail, after jumping a fence and trespassing into the College Station Police Department parking lot.

According to the arrest report, that happened Saturday afternoon, when an officer had radioed that a man had jumped the fence into the departments controlled access parking lot. Another officer saw the man on the other side of the fence, then jump the fence and re-enter the parking lot.

The man was asked to sit down, and was asked what he was doing. The man emptied his pockets, and threw a plastic baggie on the ground. He admitted the bag contained a marijuana joint.

He was arrested, and identified as 32 year old David Anthony Cruz of Navasota. He was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespass.

At last check, Cruz remained in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $3,300.
