Two free COVID-19 testing sites in Grimes County next week

August 17, 2020 by Andre Perrard

Some more, free, walk-up COVID-19 testing is coming to Grimes County next week.

According to a release on Monday, the county will have testing sites set up once again on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week, August 24th through 26th.

There will be two testing locations this time. The first will be at the Navasota Center in Navasota, and the second place will be at the Civic Center in Bedias. Testing times will be from 8 am to 4 pm. If you are in line by 4 pm, you will be able to stay and get tested.

As with the last round, there is no appointment nor doctor’s note required to be qualified fr testing. They ask that you bring with you a photo ID and a cell phone.

There is no charge for the testing.
