Two people are hospitalized after a fire in Washington County early Sunday. According to reports, the Rocky Creek VFD responded to the fire at 5:30 am.
Upon their arrival, two residents were seen outside the structure, one of them suffering from burns. A total of seven fire departments in the area responded.
The resident suffering from burns was taken to the hospital. During the response, a firefighter had a medical emergency, and was taken to the hospital as well. He is listed in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
