A Madisonville man, who admitted to engaging in and recording sexual acts with a child, has received two life sentences.
The Madison County District Attorney’s Office says that 43 year old Joseph Farris of Madisonville pled guilty on August 3rd to the charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, and Possession of Child Pornography.
Authorities say in June 2018, Farris and his then girlfriend Felicia Mulkey were arrested in Madisonville on the charges. During their arrest, both agreed to be interviewed, and both admitted to engaging in and recording the acts with a child that they knew in April. According to authorities, Farris kept copies of the videos.
Mulkey was given a life sentence in 2019.
Farris will not be eligible for parole for at least 30 to 40 years.
