Two arrests have been made in the case of a Bedias homicide last October.
The Grimes County District Attorney’s Office says that the arrests were made four days after October 14th shooting, which killed 18 year old Anthony Demilo Williams of Navasota. Taken into custody in connection to the case were Alfredo Garza and Eric Segovia. Both face charges of Deadly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
According to Grimes County District Attorney Andria Bender, the Grand Jury has begun review of the case but all proceedings are secret and by law details are unable to be released until the Grand Jury finishes the review of the case. An indictment will not be sought until there is sufficient evidence to prove any charges beyond a reasonable doubt.
Bender says both Garza and Segovia are currently out on bond.
