The Texas Department of Transportation Bryan District is proposing to widen SH 105 from SH 249 to SH 6 in Grimes County.
The proposed project would widen the existing two-lane highway to a four-lane divided highway, two lanes in each direction separated by a grass median.
The improvements would include construction of a direct connect interchange at the intersection of SH 6 and SH 105. The direct connect interchange would connect SH 105 westbound to SH 6 northbound and SH 6 southbound to SH 105 eastbound.
Additionally, the intersection of SH 105 with FM 362 and CR 415 would be reconfigured to a grade-separated overpass. The project length is approximately 6.5 miles.
An In-Person Public meeting will be held to receive public comment at the Grimes County Fairgrounds on September 19th from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
