United Way of the Brazos Valley kicked off their 2022-23 campaign with a fundraising luncheon on Friday.
Campaign chair Max Crawford says this year’s goal is one point six-three million dollars.
“One of the col things about United Way is, there is something you have heard of, that United Way gets to touch. Whether it is on the far north side of Bryan, Washington County, just outside of Houston, we are trying to increase our footprint. And you can donate specifically an area, where you know it goes to a good cause,” said Crawford.
It was a packed house at Friday’s event as UWBV presented checks from last year’s campaign to its 26 partner agencies.
